Azcue LN Series
Vertical, single-stage IN-LINE centrifugal pumps, directly coupled to the electric motor via a rigid coupling, for right-hand (clockwise) rotation. The impeller is mounted in reverse, with the suction facing upward, which balances the axial forces acting on the shaft's ball bearings and, combined with the back pull-out-style casing, allows the pump internals to be fully serviced without disconnecting the suction or discharge pipework. Standard operating temperature is up to 90°C (130°C available on special request), with 1450/2900 rpm running speeds at 50Hz or 1750/3450 rpm at 60Hz. Flanges follow PN16 up to DN150 and EN 1092 PN10 from DN200 to DN300. Casing, impeller, and casing cover are bronze as standard (cast iron available on request, with nodular cast iron, stainless steel, and other bronze alloys available under special requirement), with a stainless steel shaft as standard across all executions.
The series is available in four executions. The standard LN execution has no dedicated priming pump. The LN-VP execution adds an integrated automatic priming system, operated by a venturi ejector using compressed air. The LN-EP execution instead uses an independent priming electropump, driven by its own electric motor, which stops automatically once the suction phase is complete. The LN-EF execution builds on LN-EP with an added mechanical float purger, preventing fluid from escaping the priming pump during operation.
