KSB Itur AU Series

Horizontal self-priming centrifugal pumps configured with an open or semi-open impeller and a renewable front wear plate, built to handle greywater, sandy drainage, and heavily contaminated bilge fluids with suspended solids without clogging. No foot valve is needed in the suction line: as long as a small volume of priming fluid stays inside the casing, the pump creates its own vacuum to clear air from the suction line and prime itself.

Sacrificial wear plates protect the housing from erosive sand and silt pulled from double-bottom ballast tanks, and unbolt for quick replacement during routine overhauls rather than requiring the whole pump frame to be replaced. The multi-bracket design accepts Nitrile or Viton swinging suction check valves alongside standard mechanical seals for complete backflow containment. Typical duty includes ship bilges, foundation drainage, local flooding response, and emergency fire fighting.
