KSB Itur RC Series
Heavy-duty helical gear pumps built for viscous, lubricating fluids completely free of solids, with a built-in adjustable automatic relief bypass valve to prevent overpressure. Used across marine engine lubrication and fuel transfer, mineral and vegetable oils, liquid polymers, adhesives, fuel and diesel oil, and industrial chemicals such as liquid soap, paste, and glycerine.
The range covers three structural types: standard horizontal units on a baseplate (sizes R1 to R4), a space-saving vertical bracket configuration known as RCV, and ultra-compact close-coupled monobloc units (RC-00 and RC-01). Every internal moving part is lubricated by the pumped fluid itself. RC-00 and RC-01 have no independent friction bearing bushes, with the motor bearings directly supporting the upper shaft and a multi-lip seal shaft seal arrangement instead of a mechanical seal; RC-1 through RC-2 use removable friction bushes in the side covers; RC-2R and larger step up to ball bearings in an intermediate support bracket, with a standard mechanical seal. Standard IEC-frame motors connect via a flexible rubber plug-type coupling on every size except RC-00 and RC-01, protected by a metallic coupling guard, and horizontal units from RC-1 up sit on a welded steel base or rigid U-rails.
