In production since the 2000s for engines in the 600-2,500 kW range with pressure ratios up to 5.0:1, AT-Series (Large) scales up the AT architecture for heavy-duty 4-stroke medium-speed main engines, using tapered-land sliding thrust bearings and advanced nickel-based heat-resistant alloys to prevent high-temperature casing failure.
